This Privacy Policy explains how Extino ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website and application. By using Extino, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Account information — your email address and basic profile, provided when you sign up (including via Google sign-in through Firebase Authentication).
• Content you submit — extension descriptions, prompts, images, and other inputs you provide for AI generation.
• Usage data — generation counts, plan, and activity needed to operate the service and enforce plan limits.
• Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details, only a customer reference and subscription status.

How we use your information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the service and generate your requested content.
• To manage your account, subscription, and plan usage limits.
• To communicate important service or billing notices.
• To secure the service and prevent abuse.

Third-party services

We rely on trusted processors to run Extino:

• Google Firebase — authentication and database (account and project data).
• Google Gemini API — AI text and image generation. Content you submit for generation is processed by Google's AI models.
• Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing.
• Cloudflare — hosting and content delivery.

Each processor handles data under its own privacy terms.

Data retention

We keep your account and project data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your projects at any time, and you may request account deletion by contacting us.

Your rights

Depending on your location (including under GDPR/CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email hello@extino.app.

Cookies

We use essential cookies and local storage for authentication and to keep you signed in. We do not use non-essential advertising cookies.

Data security

We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, access controls) to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

Children

Extino is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
